Falling Backwards

Hollie loves to climb up on our bed, get into position on the footboard, and then just fall backwards flat onto her back!

An Energetic Little Girl!

Hollie has been getting into dancing lately - she often asks us to turn on the music so she can jump around and run all over the room. She has so much energy - I wish I had that much! (Notice her abandoned shirt on the floor - and the cracker in her hand which at one point she stuffs into her mouth as it is obviously hindering her dance moves!).

Sunday Afternoon Fun

Hollie was having so much fun on Ellie this afternoon!

The Coffee Roaster!!!

Wayne is now pursuing a career in coffee roasting - the good old Kiwi DIY way!!!

The necessary components: a breadmaker (pulled apart and fitted with a specially-dented bowl), a convection oven lid, and some sieves!

The "green" beans - ready to be roasted!

Cooling the roasted beans quickly is essential!

Now, we leave them to "mature" for a couple of days before grinding and brewing - can't wait!!
